I am delighted to welcome you to the website of Canonium Learning Trust. We are a family of schools with a shared purpose to give every child the very best education possible.

Our purpose is deliberately broad as we are a growing network of schools, that are aligned by our high expectations, but with the autonomy to choose how to deliver an educational experience that is right and best for our pupils and communities. With this ambition, we actively invite schools to uphold their individual school ethos, vision and values.

While our schools are encouraged to be distinctive, our shared purpose is underpinned by three principles that explain how our schools work together in partnership. Firstly, we strongly believe membership to Canonium Learning Trust should be a gateway to opportunity. Our principle of opportunity invites our schools to be part of a greater educational community where collaboration promotes a diverse learning culture that empowers bespoke development for all and innovation with purpose.

Our principle of challenge, keeps our core business of teaching and learning at the forefront of everything we do. We are challenged to strike the right balance between autonomy and consistency so our greatest time and effort goes towards getting better at what matters most. Without a doubt, the development of teaching and learning is our most important improvement activity in every school. Together, we are better equipped to support and challenge each other to flourish.

Finally, our third principle of integrity strengthens our courage to do the right thing, resist excuses and treat others with fairness and respect. Canonium Learning Trust can be trusted and relied upon to empower schools to deliver an excellent standard of education in a way that best suits their pupils and unique community.

We are at an exciting transformational stage where we are inviting individual and groups of schools to be part of our founding team.
